Coriander - Leaf
Coriander is a spicy ingredient that can use in the dishes. Its seeds and leaves are major used parts of the plant. Coriander seeds and its powder are major components of the masala mixture for various non veg dishes like egg masala, chicken masala and fish curry varieties.

Coriander plant has other names - Cilantro/ Chinese Parsley/Dhania. 

Its scientific name is Coriandrum sativum. It includes in the family Umbelliferae.

Coriander is the first used spice by man. So it is very old cultivated plant. We have no correct idea about its origin. But it is widely used in Southern Europe and South West Asia. It was also used in Israel and Greece Before thousands of years. 

Coriander leaf will enhance the taste of curries like Rasam, Sambar, chilli Gobi, Non vegetable recipes those said above. Coriander leaf- Coconut Chutney and Chutney powder are two delicious simple recipes with it. 

Coriander leaves and seeds can active the digestion in your body. So make a habit to drink the boiled water with them. It also helps to overcome the stomach pain.

Parsley can increases the resistance power of the body. 

It can reduce the chance for asthma, allergy and lose of memory. 

Coriander can make the kidneys active. 

It reduces the amount of sputum. It also reduces the head ache. 

It is useful for health of the teeth.

Coriander paste with turmeric paste is a best beauty tip to increase your skin's shining. 

It is good for throat infection and cold. 

Diabetic persons can depend on the coriander parts to accurate the sugar level.
