Poori masala is a delicious food item which is popular in India. Especially the south Indians enjoy this recipe for their breakfast or dinner. Poori can serve with Kerala/Tamil/Andhra/North Indian side dishes. For example, the potato (aloo) masala gravy, channa masala curry, vegetable sabji..... Poori is a breakfast dish with high amount of nutritious value. But you should take care to avoid the absorption of more oil by it, to avoid health problems.

Potato Masala Curry Preparation for Poori:
We can prepare the poori masala with different side dishes. As I said above one among them is potato masala. This is more popular in South India. Potato masala preparation is so simple. Take 2-3 potatoes and 2 onions. Cook them with some salt and turmeric powder after adding sufficient water. Splutter black gram (balls), mustard seeds, dried chilies and curry leaves in some oil. Add the cooked potato pieces and onion. Potato masala for poori is ready.
Poori with Channa Masala:
Channa masala is always good for poori as a good breakfast. Channa/ Kadala/ Bengal gram is rich with protein. It increases the muscle power of your body. We can make the channa masala through some simple steps. Put the channa in water in the previous night. Cook them well with enough salt in a pressure cooker. Put the chopped onion in a pan with some oil and wait till the onion turn into very soft. Add some turmeric powder, chilly powder and garam masala powder into it. Add sufficient water and stir well. Add some chopped coriander leaves. Channa masala curry is ready for your poori.
Poori with the Vegetable Sabzi:
The vegetable sabzi (sabji) is also filled with many vitamins and minerals. Poori sabji combination makes your body more healthier. Preparation of sabji is easy. You first steam the chopped vegetables in a pressure cooker and keep aside. Take a pan and add some oil. Put the ginger garlic paste into it. Add some cardamom and other spices. Add chilly powder and turmeric powder. Put the steamed vegetables to the spicy content. Mix well. Add some water for gravy.
