Lemon pickle is a favorite side dish especially for South Indians. Lemon is healthy and fruity. It contains vitamin C. So its presence in your food makes you smarter. You can prepare many food items and drinks with this fruit. Here you can get an idea to prepare pickled lemon in a spicy style. It is more suitable for steamed rice, rice porridge, fried rice, egg rice and biriyani.

- Lemons
- Chilly powder
- Garlic
- Oil
- Mustard
- Curry leaves
- Salt.
Make Lemon Pickle through Easy Steps:
In this type of pickling I do not recommend the frying or other processes. It can be done with raw lemons. Cut them into pieces with your convenience. Put sufficient salt and chilly powder into the piece. Add crushed pieces of garlic. Mix well. Place it for 24 hours by covering with a clean, wet cloth. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter the mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, red chillies and curry leaves in the hot oil. Pour this mixture into the basic mixture of lime pickle. Mix again. You can feel the spicy smell of hot pickle.
